Early release to provide an opportunity For people to think about it and realize the project.

Immediate Family Crest

The theme: Artistic representation of an immediate family crest in any shape or form of art. This mean: only the parents and children (2 generations at a time). The father, mother children and family pets.

Example: Totem pole (description): At the bottom: the mother protecting her child. At the top: Animals reflection the family's love of nature at all levels (sculpted in a tree). The base: The village where the family lived. (33 words)

As you can see the sky is the limit for artistic interpretation.

Winning Criteria, Awards and Registration Deadline

Five First Place Winners Trophies: Territory of Akwesasne, Cornwall, the and one for Stormont (North and South), Dundas (North and South), Glengarry (North and South) and ribbons for 2nd and 3rd prize winners.

  1. Creativity: The most unusual approach to represent the family crest
  2. Submission of 100 words maximum (typed) describing the meaning of the art work.
  3. Measurement (maximum) 6 feet high, 3 feet wide and 2 feet deep

Crest Set-up time: Between 8:30 a and 10:00 a.m., June 10th at the Long Sault Arena
