Ray Savard of the Seaway Slot Racing, in collaboration with Parade of Nations for the Developmentally Challenged, is holding its First Seaway Hobbies, Crafts and Collectors Show - on Saturday, 21st February 2015 - from 9 am to 4 pm - at the Royal Canadian Legion, located at 417 Second Street West, Cornwall Ontario.

The purpose of the event is to create hobbies, crafts and collectors clubs in Akwesasne, Cornwall and the United counties. By establishing a network of people with the same interests and providing them with an opportunity for networking. Skills such as weaving, forging and soldering which are in danger of being lost as demand for them falls in the digital age will have a chance for survival. It is also an opportunity to introduce to the special need people of our communities activities they would like to be involved in. Our team is dedicated in the promotion these specific expressions of our culture by stimulating their interest.

If you who would like to promote a dying art, hobby or exhibit items of collection - free of charge - please call Marie Morrell at 613-936-6873 or e-mail info@paradeofnations.com by the February 11th at the latest. Space is limited and many hobbyists have already reserved.
