At the Ramada Hotel.

Thanks to Linda Geisel of Focus Art, who arrived a few minutes after the official opening at 10 a.m. at the South Stormont Township Hall, in Long Sault, on April 8th, the 2nd Annual Seaway Hobbies, Collectibles, Art and Craft Show's event pictures are showcase on Marie Morrell Facebook dated April 9th. You can see all the exhibitors, vendors, Parade of Nations' volunteers and those of the Lost Villages Lions Club (food vendor).
The variety of items offered was just incredible (28 vendors and 8 exhibitors). The event presented by Ray Savard, owner or the Seaway Slot Car Racing was a fundraiser for Parade of Nations (PONDC) a registered charity helping developmentally challenged, artistically incline, of the united counties of SD&G, the city of Cornwall and the Territory of Akwesasne.
The generosity of sponsors, attendees and participants truly surpassed all PONDC's expectations. Other non-for-profit organizations featured were Spirit in Unity School of Horsemanship (Garry Meek) of Lunenburg and the White Knukhlerz RC Motorcycle Riding Club of Cornwall (Laurie-Jade Robinson).
A special thanks to our seven volunteers Ken Davies, Vesela and James Moshonas, Amanda Brown (face painting), Suzanne Rowlands (artist); Joseph Szabo Eastern Ontario Regional Manager - Student Travel School (STS) Foundation and student Nicoló Borgonovo from Naples, Italy; our cash donations sponsors ITS, Ontario Power Generation, The Scrap Metal Guys and Joan Page; and many s in-kind donations and services sponsors.
In addition, the show was to recruit members to create and Art and Crafters Group for the communities of South Stormont, 3 different clubs: (Collectors of all kinds, Kite and Slot Car Racing); find sponsors and advertisers for the first book of a digest written by Marie Morrell about the multicultural diversity and art culture legacy of our surrounding areas titled Akcounties (AK- Akwesasne, CO (Cornwall), Unties (United counties of SDG), currently being edited and scheduled for release in 2017; promote the up coming PONDC Parade and Multicultural Festival to be held in Arnold Bethune Park (parade) and event at the Long Sault Arena-60 Mille Roches Road-on June 10th; and the 6th Annual Seaway Train Show, July 15rh and 16th at the Long Sault Arena.
