Bio: BOOZEHOUND This band manages to transcend multiple musical genres, effortlessly.

Although members of Canadian rock band BOOZEHOUND were all formerly representing the ‘metal scene’, frontman Ben Dynamite, felt a need to connect with all aspects of his musical influences and formed, BOOZEHOUND: a rock/fusion foursome that are known for highly energetic and entertaining live shows, complete with hilarious banter and unpredictable behaviour by singer/guitarist Ben Dynamite.

In the summer of 2013, together with core members: Pizzle Poapst (guitar), the absolute beast, known as, Animal, on drums and newcomer YJ (bass), they released a debut album, DOG DAYS, on their own independent label, Inspired Records.

It’s an incredibly eclectic collection, formed with a foundation of rock ‘n’ roll and fused with major elements of reggae, funk, pop, country, indie, punk rock, blue grass, ska and even hip-hop. Pretty much anything that makes a sound will inspire this band, as they even used household items as instruments on parts of the record.

This style has landed them an opening spot for Canadian rap/pop/rock headliners, DOWN WITH WEBSTER, even prior to their album release.

Armed with an unwavering dedication to the do-it-yourself work ethic and a completely signature sound, BOOZEHOUND is also filming their own reality series about the trials and tribulations of a band dreaming big and wanting to change the world in a dwindling rock scene. The reality web series will also feature a variety of skits and gags that highlight the antics and personalities of these real life characters, while showcasing their true passion of "real" and "honest" music.Current Location: Cornwall, Ontario, Canada
