The Local Seeker

You read about them, hear about them, see them on the tube. For the last six years, Mark A. MacDonald has had the privilege of serving as a city councillor. Mark was a firefighter with the city for 24 years and is now retired. He has the heart of a volunteer and is the recipient of the Ontario Medal for Good Citizenship. Over the years, he has donated his time to many different organizations, including the Children's Aid Society, the M.D. Society and local minor sports.

He also performs with his elder Cecil at different venues to either promote events or participate in fundraisings. "I have a vision of Cornwall as a vital, thriving, caring community where no one is left behind." says Mark. Those words show a lot of caring.
