After about 30 years of leather carving, in 2005 I took a beginners introduction course on how to paint with acrylic paint and have never looked back.

Thanks to a friend I was introduced to a group of experienced artists who met once a week in Cornwall and painted as a friendly group but without an instructor. This however did not matter to me because many of them gave great advice and constructive criticism which has made me a better painter today.

I have continued learning by taking lessons at St. Lawrence Collage and being closely connected to more accomplished artists and accept advise where I can get it. To date I have sold 21 of my paintings so all that wonderful advice has paid off and their accumulated guidance has been wonderful. My main subject matter is nature, wildlife and painting from my own photos.
I have been a member of Focus Art for the past three years and amazed at the talent and versatility shared by all. When I paint I'm happy.
