Bennett Charlene H.

Charlene’s paintings hang in government and professional offices and in homes. Winner of local awards, portraiture is her passion. Charlene paints her subject in a unique portraiture style capturing the essence of the individual in his surrounding of choice (professional or personal). A native of Cornwall, Ontario, she began painting in oils, outdoors in California; landscapes were her passion. She studied two years in fine arts at St. Lawrence College in Cornwall. Twenty years later, she returns to the same college in Brockville to pursue her new passion for live models and expressionistic art. “Art has always been and continues to be my refuge, my solace. Now, it is my voice.”
