Susan spent many years developing her artistic talents experimenting in various mediums. She studied art at Concordia University and the Macor Visual Arts Workshop as well as with well known teacher Nancy Corner. Susan was a member of Clavis Studio in Westmount, Quebec for 19 years and has been shown in biannual exhibitions.
