is a local coffee roaster and part owner of the Cornwall Free News digital newspaper. Before repatriating to the Cornwall area Reg spent 32 years working as a food technologist at various companies in the food industry. He began writing his cookbook during the recession in 1991 which was also the first time he was downsized / rightsized / reengineered out of a good paying job. It just seemed like a natural for him. Having an incredible appetite for both good food and beer, and a natural ability to cook, it just seemed like a good make work project. Over the years he has added to his recipe list (and his experience with beer) until he put it all together in a book format in 2004 for a Christmas gift for his friends and family.
