Lorna Foreman, local journalist has put together eleven years of her writings for Fifty-Five Plus Magazine. “When Life Becomes Real” is not just for the older generation - these articles touch on the human situations most of us have or will likely experience, at some point in our lives. Lorna has also written “Wheat Watchers” a cookbook for Celiacs.

Lorna Foreman, a fabric artist as well as a writer fell in love with the Haiku format of poetry and feels it is a challenging introduction to writing poetry. Founder of the Cornwall Writers Group, she has been a journalist, writing a weekly column on the arts for the Glengarry News and the Standard Freeholder, as well as a bi-monthly column, The Rest is Best, for a seniors magazine, Fifty-Five Plus, published in Ottawa.
