Swift Dean

Dean Swift was born at home, in Cornwall in 1944. He has four older sisters and four younger brothers. He attended public schools in Cornwall including Central Public and Cornwall Collegiate and Vocational School (CCVS). His post education included courses at St. Lawrence College and other upgrading. He was blessed with a good family and a good upbringing. His hobbies include ballroom dancing, scuba diving and sailing. Dean always enjoyed the water and his travels during a five year stint with the Royal Canadian Navy sparked his desire to explore other countries, but with on his own yacht. He thinks international travel, especially if done in an independent fashion, is one of life’s most rewarding events.

Dean met my wife, Linda, at Jack Lee's restaurant when she asked him for a light for her cigarette. They dated, got married and he hasn’t regretted a minute of it. They have different interests and give each other the time they need to enjoy them. Linda also enjoys time aboard the boat, as long as it is not time at sea, and they both enjoy ballroom dancing.

As for sailing, it is his near term goal to get Lucky Linda to Buenos Aries, where he and Linda can enjoy Argentina and perfect Argentinean Tango. After who knows...
