Leroux Bev

Painter, Photographer, Jewellery maker

Bev Leroux painter in acrylic, water color and water based oils. She also designs jewellery and does some photography. Bev's interest in art began in 1984 where she attended art classes at John Abbott College in Montreal, Quebec for two semesters. Upon moving to Sutton, Quebec in 2000 she restarted taking art classes through Bishops College and with local artists. Since Bev has relocated to Cornwall in 2003, she continues to take art lessons and workshops with various local artists and Encore at St. Lawrence College, as well as art classes with the Puerto Vallarta Cultural Center in Mexico during the winter. Bev has been accepted in various juried shows in Cornwall and has sold her paintings locally and in Brockville. Her favourite subjects are landscapes and flowers. She experiments with various techniques in the arts (collage, pastels, jewellery designs, etc.).
