Her first solo exhibition at the Cultural Center Corrid'Art Cornwall " Hymne à la nature" She invites everyone to discover the different ecosystems of Canada.
Experience the beauty and nature of Canada through her paintings ... Almost all provinces are represented: Pointe Police (Alberta), La Petite Nations (Quebec) Newfoundland, Nova Scotia ... " When I think of my creative talent, I think of the wonder of nature. It's so beautiful! I am a kind of girl, "says the artist. You will find, among other things, beautiful sunsets, old fort on the edge of the sea, the forest to its simplest expression and be dazzled by some colourful flowers. Everything was a product oil,
her favourite medium. "It's more malleable. I can play with my paintings. It is also easier to correct, "said Pilon.
Where does her inspiration comes from ? Well, from photographs in her travels with her husband, who is also a big fan of photography.
For four years, she paints with passion. It has become customary to create her paintings in the morning. "I like to get up early in the morning to paint. It's like meditation for me. We enter inside oneself. I find that the morning is the best time to that. "
It is in 2012 that she t was ready to engage in the derby. "I did not accumulate enough paintings over the years. It is also because of lack of confidence in relation to the gaze of others that it always made me hesitate. When exposed, you are exposed to the judgment of others and it is not always easy to face criticism, "she says.
Ms. Pilon has exhibited with five groups, including some in craft fairs, Massena (United States) and Thousand Island (Ontario).
