Ken, following retirement as Superintendent of Education for the former S.D.& G. County Board of Education, took up art and writing. As an artist he was the recipient of a special award for the watercolor painting 'Summer Glory' from the Palm Beach, Florida, Watercolor Society. He uses acrylic and watercolor media. His preferred subjects are people and landscapes in both real life and abstract mode.
