The exhibition of the artist Anita Huygen will be held Friday, November 4, 2011 at the Corrid'Art at ''Le Centre Culturel de Cornwall.'' The artist was born in Cornwall, has studied visual art in high school then won a prize in art at a Focus Art exhibition. Angel Face, her first watercolor also won an award in a competition, not to mention "Once upon a time, and the Mirror." These competitions are evaluated by panels organized by The Association Focus Art, the Regional Gallery Cornwall and ''Le Centre Culturel de Cornwall'' where the artist is currently holding her first solo exhibition.
"I like meeting people in competitions or exhibitions, and I have fun when I draw or paint, I try different things." The artist proposes including a series of paintings whose subjects are the collection of cars. "My husband loves to go to shows that showcase car collections; at first I was a little bored to accompany him to these places, but since I paint these subjects, I adore following him there. " She works and is inspired by scenes she takes photographs of, a medium that she wants to develop eventually.
With her experience in art all these years, Anita Huygen is now the coordinator of the Gallery.
