L’Amalgame des arts de la langue française et du théâtre

The Amalgam first crystallized in the form of a multidisciplinary group around the creation of the Bistro Blues. The drafting of L'Amalgame's projects began with several critical meetings during the year 2004. Several pioneers came from the troupe Les Gens D'Ici (1988-2005).

L'Amalgame was incorporated on June 25, 2009 under the name 'L'Amalgame of the arts of the French language and theatre' consolidating its three main components:
A choir, the Choeur en Fête,
And the club of biblivores, the Mille Feuilles,
Which revolve around his troupe: the theater of L'Amalgame.

Based in Cornwall, the Amalgam Improvement League (LILA), a multicultural league
And multigenerational improvisation, has been developing since July 2009.

Since November 2009, the Liberals have been practicing experimental writing exercises during monthly meetings at the corner of the circle.

Since February 2012, members of L'Amalgame have joined representatives of other community groups participating in the Writers' Circle of Eastern Ontario, hosted by Annick Léger, Dramatic Advisor.

Thanks to the energy and diverse creativity of its volunteers since its birth in 2004,
The Amalgame Theater has mounted and participated in numerous shows / events:

  • theatrical productions
  • playback
  • etc.
