Using the unique style of Watercolour Relief, Carol has developed, over the last fourteen years, an intricate method of layering colour over a stenciled relief. Drawing inspiration from numerous art historical traditions such as Egyptian, Celtic, Symbolic Art, Art Deco and illuminations, her work illustrates a strong interest in the interplay of positive and negative shapes.
