After five years of progress with the workshops: " J'écris ma vie (I write my life)," she tells us, her story unpretentiously. Follow her on the path of life.

The author of ''Et après ... La vie continue'' ( And then ... Life goes on), Madame Pierrette Lemieux, a native of Drummondville and Cornwall resident for more than thirty years plans to undertake writing workshops for a group of people who want to write their autobiographies in the fall 2011.
''J'écris ma vie'', a well-established organization in Quebec since 1990 made its debut, in September 2000, in Ontario - Alexandria through the collaboration of Mrs. Françoise Brunet of Ste Anne de Prescott.
The instigator of this program, Mr. Olivier Fillion, a resident of Chambly, Quebec, worked for 15 years to structure the program ''J'écris ma vie''. The association made its debut on the market in Ontario two months before the death of Mr. Fillion in 2000.
Since then, it has spread its network in Florida and Belgium. "Those wishing to write life stories that become family treasures, get involve through this association, writing books which contain precious memories for their descendants," says Ms. Lemieux.
''J'écris ma vie'' what is it? Two sessions will begin in the fall in Cornwall under the supervision of group leaders. The two leaders, Ms. Lemieux and Marie-Paule Villeneuve will start the new writing sessions in September 2011. "The participants learn writing techniques: writing and each following its own style. It is also a self-help and sharing group, "says Ms. Lemieux. The facilitators will guide the authors in the correction, layout, pictures' insertion and image for the book covert.
The authors will be reading the lines they have written from week to week to those present to probe the Internet and incite the review of their work by other participants. The session will last for a period of two years through a meeting every two weeks during the school calendar.
The author and presenter
Pierrette Lemieux became host after writing the book she edited as the author in December 2009. 75 people came to Le Centre Charles Émile Claude to attended the launch of her book printed in 175 copies
Since then she has led two groups of ''J'écris ma vie'' in 2006-2008 and 2008 - 2010. It will resumed practice in Cornwall on Wednesdays in the fall of 2011, ''J'écris ma vie'' is a wonderful adventure that provides satisfaction and pride, "says Madame Lemieux."It's to have fun reliving the past and present events. It is a journey to the past and by reliving happy and sad moments.
It is above all realizing that we have much to tell, "she says, recalling that to walk with a group of about 12 people becomes very important because the group supports the writing process of each one.
The purpose of the exercise is different for each person. "We start the project, we do not know how it will end. Some will publish to the public, others only publish to their families. Some keep their writings in a binder to read it occasionally, "she says.
